My tough love answer: If it matters to you, YES.

I'm not saying it will always be a piece of cake. Writing my own book, I had several late nights and early mornings. But when the reviews and new clients came rolling in... It was all MORE than worth it.

On the subject of time—how many hours a week should I set aside for my book?

20-24 hours a week is recommended. Call it 3 hours a day.

The first 3 months are when most of the time is spent writing. After that, it’s back and forth between you and the editors to refine.

What is the investment for Bring Your Book to Life?

What is the difference between hybrid publishing and traditional publishing?

Many authors think they want to be traditionally published—until they realize that traditional publishing includes relinquishing control of your book rights, forfeiting royalties, and paying ridiculously high prices for copies of your book.

With hybrid publishing, you own the rights to your book completely. There are no weird revenue shares or surprise small print sections—but you're also not left to fully DIY your book as with self-publishing.

We are simply here to help you write your masterpiece, no strings attached. When your book begins bringing in the business, no one will be standing in the way.

How long should the book be?

We recommend writing and publishing a book that’s 35,000 words or less (about 150 pages). This is an ideal length for a business book, as it's easy to read, quick to digest, and inexpensive to print.

However, you're welcome to write beyond 35,000 words if you feel it's necessary for your book. Additional charges may apply for longer texts.
